Here we go….ready or not! And we ARE ready!! Our teachers have been working hard setting the scene for a fun learning environment. Please remember to check the board daily to see what your child will be doing. Remember to ask them specific questions about their day because if you ask "What did you do today"…their reply will be "Nothing"!

For our Pre K and Preschool classes, you will receive a monthly calendar (blue for Pre-K and orange for Preschool)in your child’s mailbox. All groups will receive a newsletter with your monthly invoice through your email account. Let us know if you are not receiving the emails. Also, we will be sending Text Messages for weather related issues. Please make sure you have noted your cell phone carrier on your information sheet (eg. Verizon, sprint etc).

Mrs. Hourihan, Miss Michelle, Mrs. Strathern and Mrs. Marion will work hard at getting your child ready for Kindergarten. Please check your child’s mailbox and praise whatever work he or she does. Remember, positive reinforcement is the key to success with young children!!! If you have any questions at all please feel free to ask!!

Miss Jenna has exciting and fun ways to entice your children to learn! Following directions will be the first goal and she, Miss Lisa and Miss Erin C. will make sure the two and three year olds have fun while they are learning. Mrs. Hourihan and Miss Kerry will be helping out with the Preschool class on Thursdays and Fridays. We have many children in our class but we are ready for them with a daily routine of exciting projects. Most of the preschool projects will be on top of the cubbies so don’t leave without them! We welcome Miss Erin Hull to LLC. Erin will be an afternoon aide with the Preschool and Pre-K children.

Mrs. Strathern will be with our morning school aged children and will make sure, with Mrs. Hourihan, that they have a happy and healthy start to their morning. If you would like your child to each breakfast at LLC, please feel free to bring in cereal, fruit or heat ups and we will make sure they eat before the busses arrive. Also, PLEASE give us a call if your child is going to be absent or let us know if your child will not returning on the bus in the afternoon!!

You will receive your invoice a few days before the first of the month. Please review it and call Mr. Hourihan if you have any questions. (908-283-0407). Also please feel free to make up any school days that your child misses because of illness or a vacation. We cannot make up "childcare only" days, snow days or holidays. Plus, anytime you need us for "extra hours", please feel free to give us a call!
